SIGNS AND SYMBOLS
There are signs and symbols.
Many of the former are linked to our earthly existence while the latter are connected to our psychological-spiritual growth, which has nothing to do with faith in any religion, but with our process of transcendence: that is, with energy by means of which we make existing (liberate) what we are, our authentic self.
Both words indicate all that the nature of divine origin and the evolution of the man-species have created from the beginning.
Both require us not to be satisfied with the explanations and answers received to date.
If we stop asking ourselves "why is this so?" Of everything, or person, or situation, we live in the words and thoughts of others.
"Everything began to exist thanks to the word, and all that exists
nothing could come into being except through the word "John 1,3
Words, for us, are things (signs) and things are words that indicate them (symbols): we perceive and desire only what they can indicate while we do not notice those many things and behaviors and forms of life and desires to which our language has not yet given a name.
What does this mean?
Many things we perceive do not have a word to indicate them. There are things, or people, or situations that attract us, symbols towards which we perceive an increase in our energy and a strong desire for knowledge.
Anything, or situation, or living being with which our attention is able to "connect" is a Symbol (Sym-bolè) put there to join you with something else.
The appearance of a symbol is understandable to us, it has a shape, we can see it, touch it, hear it, describe it but not so its content for the reason that this content is of the same substance as something inside us, right inside the our authentic self.
"What a symbol contains is what it sees in us" we are, it is I said Oedipus to the question of the sphinx.
That is, the energy we need to grow and to know if we are weaving, we produce it through the connection with a symbol; but it must be noticed and very often it does not happen. Those who succeed will draw energy from everything and find themselves living in a very different way from those who are easily satisfied with the explanations of others without asking themselves for anything, or person, or situation "why is that?".
These photographs are the result of my perception and the attempt to transform into images that energy that that thing or person had transmitted to me (see also the portraits).
